Your account email serves the product, not an unrelated mailing list.
This notice explains how RecoProof handles account, audit, transaction, and communication data.
Information we collect
We process the account identity and email you provide through our sign-in service, the company and market information you submit for an audit, audit inputs and results, transaction metadata, support messages, and your email communication preference.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate you, run and deliver reports, provide account and service updates, support checkout and billing, prevent abuse, maintain security, improve RecoProof, and meet legal obligations. With your optional analytics consent, we also measure acquisition, account creation, product activation, lead requests, checkout, and verified purchases. We send product or research marketing only when you explicitly opt in.
Analytics and cookies
Google Analytics is disabled until you accept analytics. If accepted, RecoProof uses first-party analytics cookies and a pseudonymous client identifier to connect site activity with verified checkout or lead outcomes. We do not send names, email addresses, company names, private queries, report content, payment details, or authentication tokens to Google Analytics. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization remain disabled.
Service email and marketing
Messages required to operate your account, deliver a requested report, provide security notices, or administer a purchase are transactional. Optional product and research updates are separate. Declining marketing does not affect your audit or account access.
Service providers and transfers
We use specialist providers for identity, infrastructure, email delivery, payments, and AI processing, including Clerk, Cloudflare, Resend, Stripe, and configured AI providers. They process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms, and processing may occur outside your country.
Retention and your choices
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, secure the platform, keep appropriate business and legal records, and resolve disputes. Marketing and analytics preferences are retained so we can honor your choices. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time through the Analytics settings link in the site footer. You may withdraw marketing consent with the email preference control in audit setup, without starting an audit, or by contacting us.
